Halloween

We all went to Novell for trick or treating. The kids had fun. Plus they get tons of candy. Conner got done before Jared so I sat in my mom's office while she took Jared to more offices.

Jared was Thor. He was so excited to pick out his costume. He only wanted to be Thor if he could have the hammer. I had to order them on different sites. I was worried that I wouldn't get the costumes in time.

Jared didn't like this decoration. He didn't even want to go look at it.

Movie and Popcorn

After getting the boys cleaned up from carving pumpkins we watched a movie "Charlie Brown and the Pumpkin" and had popcorn!!! It is so fun having kids during the holidays.

Costume and Pumpkins

Conner's costume came in the mail and we wanted him to try it on before Halloween. He didn't like it at first but after awhile he started running around growling at us.

Jared did really good at carving his own pumpkin with a spoon. He went to town making eyes and mouth.

This is the monster from my parents garden. I really wanted to make pumpkin seeds this year because we had tons but I never got around to it with us selling our house.

Jared is.....

Jared is too smart for his own good. We were driving to Lori's (his babysitter) I asked him "if Molly was excited to get a letter from him." He told me "no." I said "yes she was she told me." He then asked me "where did you see her." I told him "in the hall." He then informed me that it was a different Molly because they didn't go in the hall. I said "yes I did." Which I really didn't but I wasn't happy about him telling me that she wasn't excited. He asked me if I saw her with the mother helper. I told him "yes." He then told me that it was the Molly from his class!!! That little stinker almost caught me in a lie.

Dinner

My mom invited Colleen's family and some neighbors over for a Brazilian BBQ. Amber's brother went to Brazil on his mission so he knows how to cook the meat. They spent many hours preparing the food for us. It was Yummy!!! Then my mom had pumpkin shaped cookies for the kids to decorate.

Everyday HERO

Jared was the everyday hero in kindergarten. I had to read a story to his class and tell some stuff about Jared. We also had to make a flag about Jared. He didn't know that Bryce was going to show up. He was really excited. Bryce came in his police uniform and everything. This video is the cheer they do for the hero. Jared's teacher is amazing and does so much for these little guys.
